This Schedule forms an integral part of the Contract Inoculation Agreement (CIA) between Crown MycoResin Biotech Inc. (“Service Provider”) and the Client.
1. PURPOSE OF MONITORING & HARVEST ADVISORY
The Monitoring & Harvest Advisory service is intended to:
- Observe post-inoculation tree response
- Track resin development indicators
- Provide professional, non-guaranteed guidance on harvest timing
This service does not constitute a guarantee of resin yield, grade, aroma, or market value.
2. SCOPE OF MONITORING SERVICES
2.1 Scheduled Monitoring Visits
Monitoring visits may include:
- Visual inspection of inoculation sites
- Tree vitality assessment
- External resin indicators (discoloration, aroma presence, wound response)
Typical schedule:
- 30–45 days post-inoculation (initial response check)
- 90–120 days post-inoculation (progress evaluation)
Number of visits is defined in the main Agreement or quotation.
2.2 Optional Diagnostic Sampling (If Agreed)
- Limited core or shavings sampling
- Non-destructive or minimally invasive
- Subject to tree condition and client approval
Sampling is advisory only and does not represent full-tree resin content.
3. RESIN DEVELOPMENT ASSESSMENT
Assessment may include:
- Resin spread estimation
- Density and color indicators
- Aroma presence (non-chemical evaluation)
All assessments are indicative, not definitive, due to biological variability.
4. HARVEST ADVISORY
4.1 Harvest Timing Guidance
Harvest advisory may cover:
- Suggested harvest window (months/years post-final inoculation)
- Risk assessment of early vs delayed harvest
- Suitability for chips, oil extraction, or mixed use
Typical indicative windows:
- 6–12 months – Early commercial grade
- 12–24 months – Higher-grade resin development
- 24+ months – Premium resin potential (site & genetics dependent)
4.2 Harvest Method Advisory
Guidance may include:
- Partial vs full harvest considerations
- Cutting and handling practices
- Post-harvest storage advice
Actual harvesting remains the Client’s responsibility unless separately contracted.
5. REPORTING & DOCUMENTATION
Monitoring deliverables may include:
- Site visit notes
- Photo documentation (where permitted)
- Advisory summary reports
Reports are provided in non-laboratory, field-based format unless otherwise agreed.
6. EXCLUSIONS
Monitoring & Harvest Advisory does not include:
- Chemical or GC-MS analysis
- Market pricing guarantees
- Buyer matchmaking
- Harvest labor or equipment
These services require separate agreements.
7. FEES (IF APPLICABLE)
Monitoring & Harvest Advisory fees may be:
- Included in premium service packages
- Charged per visit or per hectare
- Priced separately in quotation or Schedule B addendum
8. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
- All advice is provided in good faith based on professional experience and observed indicators.
- Final harvest decisions and outcomes remain the Client’s sole responsibility.
- The Service Provider shall not be liable for losses arising from:
- Delayed or early harvest decisions
- Market price changes
- Environmental or biological factors
9. AUTHORITY & ADJUSTMENTS
The Service Provider may:
- Adjust monitoring frequency based on field conditions
- Recommend additional inoculation or defer harvest
All recommendations are non-binding unless incorporated into a new contract.
