Product Name
BarIno™ MycoResin Harmonia™
Product Classification
Biological Inoculant / Biological Elicitor
Intended Use
Induction of natural oleoresin (agarwood) formation in Aquilaria species through controlled myco-elicitation.
Product Description
BarIno™ MycoResin Harmonia™ is a biological inoculant formulated with a controlled fungal consortium designed to stimulate the agarwood tree’s natural defense response. The product works by guiding multiple biological signals that induce stress, regulation, and stabilization simultaneously, resulting in layered, dense, and aromatic resin formationwhile maintaining overall tree vitality.
This product is positioned as a biological elicitor and not as a plant protection product or pesticide.
Target Crop
- Aquilaria malaccensis
- Aquilaria crassna
- Aquilaria subintegra
Functional Microbial Consortium
The product contains a quad-consortium of naturally occurring fungi selected for complementary functional roles in resin induction:
- Fusarium oxysporum – Primary defense-response elicitor (vascular signaling)
- Lasiodiplodia theobromae – Secondary resin amplification and densification
- Aspergillus niger (non-aflatoxigenic strain) – Enzymatic modulation and resin diffusion enhancement
- Cladosporium cladosporioides – Stress regulation and long-term stabilization
Note: Strains are selected, attenuated, and balanced to avoid uncontrolled tissue damage.
Mode of Action (General)
- Activates plant defense signaling pathways
- Stimulates oleoresin biosynthesis
- Encourages layered resin deposition over time
- Maintains controlled biological stress without rapid necrosis
The product functions through induced physiological response, not through disease establishment.
Formulation Type
- Liquid biological formulation
- Buffered aqueous carrier system
- Organic stabilizers for microbial viability
